Using CreelDex
Logging catches, your catch timeline, your dex and exports are free for personal use, with no time limit, and nothing you log is ever locked. You do not need an account. CreelDex Plus is a paid option: it adds a dex shared with your family or club, and year views older than your last three years. Where a price applies we will state it clearly before you pay.
Fishing law is yours to check
Species pages describe protection status, seasons and size limits to the best of our knowledge, and every page shows when it was last updated. This is guidance to help you fish responsibly — it is not legal advice and it is not a substitute for the current law. Rules change, vary by region and vary by fishery. Before you fish, check the rules that apply where you are, including any rod licence you need.
Where a page marks legal information as unverified, treat it as a starting point for your own checks, not as a conclusion.
Conditions and forecasts
The app reports weather conditions and gives a feeding-likelihood rating. It deliberately does not produce a percentage prediction, because no such prediction would be honest. Treat the rating as one input among many.
Your content
Your catches, notes and photos are yours. They stay on your device and in your own iCloud; we have no copy and claim no rights over them.
Liability
Fishing carries risk — water, weather, hooks and, in the case of some species, teeth. You are responsible for your own safety and for the welfare of the fish you handle. CreelDex is provided as is, without warranty that the information in it is complete or current.
